The Halton Agricultural Society was formed in March of 1853 with Thomas Douglas as the first President.
Its goals include:
- promoting agricultural awareness through the Milton Fall Fair
- promoting and display the quality of agricultural products
- providing grounds and buildings available for rent in the town of Milton
The current president of the Halton Agricultural Society is Keith Wettlaufer. This non-profit organization meets the second Tuesday of every month to discuss issues in Halton's Agriculture and how to best support our community through events and promotions.
